‘Lucia di Lammermoor’ returns to the Metropolitan Opera on 22 March, 2018

Following its most recent revival back in 2015, Mary Zimmerman’s chilling 2007 production of Donizetti’s tragic masterpiece, Lucia di Lammermoor, will again make its anticipated return to the Metropolitan Opera later this month, playing for a total of 12 performances from 22 March to 10 May, 2018.

Conducted by Roberto Abbado, the production will see Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti and Pretty Yende share the title role, alongside Vittorio Grigolo and Michael Fabiano who share the role of Lucia’s lover Edgardo.

Massimo Cavalletti, Luca Salsi, and Quinn Kelsey will share the role of Lucia’s villainous brother, Enrico, and Vitalij Kowaljow and Alexander Vinogradov will share the role of the chaplain Raimondo.

Jessica Pratt will sing the role of Lucia for two performances.
