‘Berlin Now’ festival runs at HOME, Manchester from 2 – 7 November

HOME, Manchester

Wednesday 2nd – 7th November, 2016

Berlin comes to Manchester in November in Berlin Now, a six-day festival showcasing the best, the hippest, and most happening art, theatre, film, and music, live and direct from a city that has long been the home of one of Europe’s hottest creative scenes.

Artists, filmmakers and creatives have for generations descended on Berlin to find a welcoming environment to live and work.

Berlin continues to attract the avant-garde and artistic experimentalists, who take advantage of the opportunities offered by one of the most culturally diverse cities in Europe, not to mention the plentiful availability of cheap rent.

A city that values, nurtures, and gives a home to performers, Berlin’s atmosphere, and style will be transported to HOME for six days of quirky cross-art performances giving Manchester audiences a unique insight into the city’s underground arts scene.

All the performances will take place in HOME’s Theatre 2 space, which will be transformed to create an intimate cabaret atmosphere.

Whatever preconceptions of German art people may have, prepare to have fun and expect the unexpected!
