NEW EUROPEAN HEADLINE TOUR ANNOUNCED 2014

Panic! At The Disco are pleased to announce their return to the UK for another string of headline shows in May 2014.

The new set of dates will kick off at Glasgow’s Academy on 7 May before stopping at Manchester and London. The tour will finish up in Belfast at Mandela Hall on 13 May.

The news rounds off what has been a triumphant year for Panic! At The Disco. Their latest album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! peaked in the Top 10 in the UK Official Charts upon its release which included smash singles ‘Miss Jackson’ and ‘This Is Gospel.’

The band also played a SOLD OUT headline tour last month including an energetic show at London’s Forum and have no plans to slow down.

Nearly two years on from their 2011 release and third studio album Vices & Virtues, Brendon Urie is back with an album paying homage to the band’s Las Vegas roots. Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! has been produced by Butch Walker (Fall Out Boy, Weezer) and reveals a bundle of high-energy, synth-led anthems, showcasing some of Urie’s most open and introspective songwriting to date.

This autumn, Panic! At The Disco will be supporting Fall Out Boy on their ‘Fall Out Boy Save Rock and Roll Arena Tour 2013’ alongside fellow Fueled By Ramen label mates twenty one pilots, which runs throughout the whole of September.

Preceding this, the band will be heading out on a US headline tour in August and they’ll also be heading to Europe for a run of headline shows in November.

Released in 2005, Panic! At The Disco’s platinum certified debut A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out remains one of the biggest-selling debuts in Fueled By Ramen history.

The album spawned their double platinum-selling single ‘I Write Sins Not Tragedies’, which led to various Grammy Award nods and an MTV Video Music Award for ‘Video of the Year’.

Their second album Pretty.Odd arrived in 2008 to bundles of acclaim, with the likes of NME declaring it a ‘victory for artistic ambition over cynical careerism, one of the feel-good physch-pop albums of the year.’

The band’s last album Vices & Virtues released in 2011 and featured the singles ‘The Ballad of Mona Lisa’ and ‘Ready To Go (Get Me Out Of My Mind)’.
