Classical artist announces Manchester Christmas show
Andre Rieu – the biggest touring classical artist in the world – returns to Phones 4u Arena Manchester with a brand new show this Christmas.
Tickets for the Sunday 21 December show go on sale this Friday at 9.00am, priced from £40.00 – £90.00.
‘The Waltz King Of Europe’ has single-handedly created an international revival in waltz music and has re-energised the classical music genre with his phenomenally successful and extravagant live performances.
Rieu’s Manchester Christmas show will see the Dutch maestro, alongside his Johann Strauss Orchestra, perform works from his hugely popular back catalogue including The Blue Danube, Love Theme from Romeo & Juliet and You’ll Never Walk Alone.
Famously conducting his orchestra, choir and soloists with his violin bow, Rieu’s onstage charisma and rock star demeanour make his Manchester return one of the musical highlights of the venue’s Christmas calendar.
Tickets go on sale at 9.00am Friday for online and telephone bookings.
The venue Box Office will open at 10.00am for all future on sales, including Andre Rieu this Friday.
