First performed at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs at the Ambassadors Theatre, London, on 4 July 1997, this new edition of Conor McPherson’s Olivier Award-winning play was released to tie-in with the Donmar Warehouse’s revival, which opened on 25 April, 2013 (following previews from 18 April).

In Brendan’s pub, isolated above the town, the men are gathering for their daily pint. The arrival of a stranger in their midst – a woman – spurs them to impress her with stories. Jack Thorne’s adaptation of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s ‘Let The Right One In’ first premiered in June 2013 at the Dundee Rep Theatre in a production by the National Theatre of Scotland, before transferring to London’s Royal Court Theatre in November 2013.

This edition of the text was published to coincide with the Royal Court Theatre’s revival of the play, first performed at the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, Sloane Square on Friday 29 November, 2013.
